A long awaited update + Contest?

Hello, ~XxRandomXIdiotxX here. I've been away a long time and for that I'm sorry. I don't really use dA too much anymore, which I am hoping to change. This year, I've been busy with life, I now live with my boyfriend of whom I also met very early this year. I've had some temporary jobs and I've had no luck finding a permanent job as of yet.

Anyway, I trust you've been well kept, with the admins of this group taking charge in my absence, I'd like to thank all of you! You've helped this group stay afloat. :clap:

Our group is expanding by the day and it has been over a year I believe, since we last held a contest. Would any of you guys be interested in one, if I plus the admins were to talk it over and gather prizes?

I also hope to start a donation pool to make this group once again, SUPER! I'll be setting up a donation pool on this account, :iconxxrandomxidiotxx:, though if you're interested in animated or non animated icons, please head to my new, more active account, :iconintellectual-pig: for details!

:bulletblue: Do I have to be a member to submit my work?

Yes. You have to be a member.

:bulletblue: What is the submission limit of this group?

One a day. (We lowered it from Five because of the high-volume of submissions we get on a daily basis was overwhelming our cofounders)

:bulletblue: Can I join as a Co-founder?

Currently, we're not looking. We've Hired two new cofounders recently and things are looking up for us. Check back later perhaps.

:bulletblue: Are photomanipulations allowed?

No. We're no longer accepting photomanipulations.

:bulletblue: What is accepted into this group?

We accept only photography of animals, as the group name suggests. Please no statues or objects shaped like animals, we like to see them living. We have no issue with owners being inside the shot of the animal, as long as the animal is the main focus.

:bulletblue: Does quality matter?

Yes. This is not a blurry photo dumping ground. We like good, quality photography and will decline anything that doesn't meet the groups standards. This means anything blurred, lacking an animal or anything fuzzy.

:bulletblue: What happens if I submit to the wrong folder?

We don't mind a small mistake. Own up to it and we'll sort it out with your cooperation. Though if it is your intention to troll this group by trying to submit to the wrong category, you will be cautioned. If this is ignored and continue to troll the group, after three chances, you will be kicked from the group and permanently banned.

We also do not accept furries or people in animal costumes.

A submission cap will be introduced if members continue to try and submit work into the wrong folders.
